On 13th September, Ozog Tomczykowski represented by tax advisors Maciej Zborowski and Wojciech Kotowski attended a meeting with Deputy Finance Minister, Pawel Gruza. The Polish Council of Ministers adopted on 16 August a “small bill on innovativeness” authored by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, concerning regulations promoting innovativeness in Poland. Acts scheduled for amendment comprise e.g. the Corporate Income Tax Act, the Personal Income Tax Act, and the Tax Code. Today the Act of 7 July 2016 on Amending the Goods and Services Tax Act and Certain Other Acts (Journal of Laws of 2016, item 1052) enters into effect introducing a fuel tax package.
