Managing Associate of Labour Law Practice
Agata is a Doctor of Juridical Science, an advocate, and an expert in labour law. She has been supporting for over 9 years Polish and international entrepreneurs in applying Polish labour law, immigration law, and in social insurance. She has valuable experience in comprehensive support for entrepreneurs in the area of individual and collective labour law. She advises on establishing and terminating employment relationships, including with executives and protected employees, and on implementing tailored employment structures along with remuneration systems and working time standards. She has experience in employment restructuring, covering work establishment transfer and liquidation, and group lay-offs. She advises Clients on legalising foreigners’ work and stay in Poland and on seconding Polish citizens abroad and foreigners to Poland. Agata represents Clients in legal actions the subject of which are claims arising from employment relationship, and in proceedings against the Social Security Office (ZUS).
Agata’s professional passion is delivering tailored solutions that effectively and securely cover entrepreneurs’ needs.
Since March 2020 she has combined working in our Law Firm with the role of an Assistant Professor in the Labour Law Department at Kozminski University. She lectures on labour law, social insurance law, and immigration law.
Agata is an author of publications on labour law, including the monograph “Freedom of contracts and its restrictions in shaping the content of employment relationships” published in Polish in 2019 by C.H. Beck. She also co-authored the commentary on the recent Labour Code, published in 2020 by the Rzeczpospolita daily.
Third place winner in the 21st edition of the Competition for the best MA thesis and doctoral dissertation on labour law and social policy organised by the Institute of Labour and Social Studies (IPSS) in December 2019
