Ożóg Tomczykowski Law Firm represented Warsaw Equity Group, a private VC/PE investment firm, in the sale of a controlling stake (approx. 64%) in Zakłady Przemysłu Cukierniczego "Otmuchów" S.A. ("ZPC Otmuchów") and a minority stake in Przedsiębiorstwo Wyrobów Cukierniczych Odra S.A. ("PWC Odra") - a subsidiary of ZPC Otmuchów - to Kervan Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi with its registered office in Istanbul ("Kervan").
Ożóg Tomczykowski law firm provided the client with comprehensive legal and tax advisory in the transaction, which included, among other things, support in negotiating transaction documentation, structuring of the transaction and advice on regulatory obligations taking into account the fact that ZPC Otmuchów is a public company listed on the WSE.
The legal team was led by attorney Karol Sowa, Partner in charge of the Mergers and Acquisitions practice, assisted by attorney Michał Furgalski.
The tax team was supervised by attorney at law Bartłomiej Biały, Partner heading the Transaction Tax practice, assisted by attorney at law Marek Kończak.
