The Polish Council of Ministers adopted on 16 August a “small bill on innovativeness” authored by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, concerning regulations promoting innovativeness in Poland. Acts scheduled for amendment comprise e.g. the Corporate Income Tax Act, the Personal Income Tax Act, and the Tax Code. The drafted changes are to encourage Polish taxpayers to invest in new technologies.
The actions in question may be found to be continuation of those that gave rise to the research and development relief in effect from 1 January 2016. The “small bill on innovativeness” amends both the regulations introduced on 1 January this year and implements new solutions supporting innovativeness.
